National Horse Show 2013 - 5th - 8th December 2013
Date: 2013-06-11 02:43PMThe National Horse Show (“NHS”) is reputedly the biggest equestrian event on the local equestrian sports calendar. It is a collaborative effort between the PRTC Equestrian Club and the Perak Turf Club and draws equestrian sports competitors from all over Malaysia and abroad.
For this year, the NHS 2013 will be held in Ipoh at the grounds of the PRTC Equestrian Club, Jalan Kelab Golf, Ipoh from 5th to 8th December, 2013. This 4-day event will include various programmes and activities as follows:
• Equestrian sports competitions (show-jumping, dressage & derby events)
• Carnival entertainment & games
• Carriage & pony rides
• Breed display
• Farriery competition & exhibition
• Trade Expo (with individual booths)
• Local hawker food fair
The NHS will involve a large contingent of competitors, event officials and horses, and is expected to draw huge crowds on a daily basis since it is held during the school holiday season. Admission to the NHS is free.
